Treatment of periodontitis (periodontics)Periodontitis is an inflammatory disease of gums that can be spread to the surrounding and supporting tissues of the teeth. It is caused by plaque – microorganisms built up in the oral cavity. Do not underestimate tooth brushing. Do you have bleeding gums? Beware, it may be the first warning signal! Go and see your dentist to start the treatment, otherwise you may loose your teeth.
