Alloy-plastic/composite combined fixed restorations

Metal-plastic/composite restorations are placed from the front, visible, side and consist of dental alloy and a plastic or composite inlay. From the aesthetic point of view the restorations are not stable in colour. As for mechanical properties a weaker tie between plastic/composite and metal may shorten the lifespan of the restoration. Lower price is the advantage.
