Endodontics is a sub-field of dentistry that deals with the treatment of tooth pulp and diseases of dental root system. You might have encountered it. Severe pain, caries infection has spread to the pulp. It is a so-called “dead” tooth, however it stays in the oral cavity and it is necessary to treat it properly.
