We are a private medical facility with more than fifteen years of experience. Our equipment can be compared with the world’s best.

We offer complete methods of assisted reproduction - IVF, ICSI, assisted hatching, cultivation of embryos to the blastocyst stage, cryoprogramme, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, donor programmes - sperm, oocytes, and embryos.

Many Years of Experience

MUDr. Jan Šulc and MUDr. Miloš Čekal together opened one of the first private offices in Prague in autumn 1992. It was located in Březová street in Prague 8. The GEST company was then founded in 1993. In 1994, an office in Na Ořechovce street in Prague 6 was added; in January 1998, the Reproduction Medicine Centre was opened in Nad Buďánkami II street in Prague 5.

The majority of our doctors have many years of experience from clinical offices; and especially many years of practice in the conditions of a private facility. Currently, we may proudly talk about a Tradition of Care.

Excellent Specialists

We take pride in the fact that we have excellent specialists working for us. We put maximum emphasis on both high erudition and the skills of dealing with people, helpfully reacting to our customers' wishes. In order to provide complete care, we cooperate with a wide range of external employees. Aside from gynaecologists and embryologists, our team consists of specialists in ultrasound diagnostics, an anaesthesiologist, an andrologist, a geneticist, an internist, and a psychologist.

Top Equipment

Quality technical equipment is an essential condition of quality care. Even the best specialist cannot provide top care with obsolete equipment. Extensive investments into modern equipment thus represent one of the main points of our company strategy.

We are proud of the equipment of our IVF laboratory, which is of world standard. It is equipped with modern CO2 incubators by Heraeus; this year, we added the state-of-the-art Thermo Forma Steri-Cycle CO2 incubator. It secures A class cleanliness of the cultivation environment. This year we also bought a new set of laminar boxes by Holten for working with sperm, eggs, and embryos. Here too, the highest possible environmental cleanliness is secured. We use high quality Olympus optics and Eppendorf Narishige micromanipulators. Our cryolisis programme runs on computer-controlled Planer equipment.

All our gynaecology offices are equipped with an ultrasound device. It is thus always handy for any check up. In our centre in Prague 5, we have a fully equipped top class modern device (GE Voluson 730 Expert). It enables us to carry out even the most difficult diagnostics. Expecting mothers thus can appreciate its 3D/4D picture.

The out-patient offices are equipped with cardiotocography devices used for monitoring the fetus in the uterus, and discover any potential threat early.

We have our own EKG device for basic internal medicine tests of pregnant women, as well as pre-surgery tests without having to send our patient someplace else.

Our anaesthesiology equipment secures painless operations.

Pleasant Atmosphere

We aim at creating as friendly an atmosphere as possible. We want to avoid negative feelings connected with classical hospital offices. We believe that environment without stress helps the treatment.

Individual Care

Everyone is unique. Each of us requires a different approach when dealing with a doctor. In our out-patient offices, we always aim at finding the ideal way.

You can choose between male and female doctors. During the treatment, you can easily choose your doctor.

Emphasis on Psychological Support

We are aware of the fact that infertility itself represents a great stress for both partners. Its treatment, especially assisted reproduction, then represents a stress for the woman's mental condition. We try to minimise such negative impacts by sensitive approach, sufficient amount of time for each visit, and attempts at individualisation of our care.
