Vladimir Machon, M.D. 

Curriculum

Vladimir was born and grew up in Plzen. He graduated from Medical Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno, where he commenced doctor in both the field of dentistry and general medicine. He entered his postgradual studies there in 2003 and gained certificate of expertise in the field of stomatosurgery from Czech Dental Chamber in 2005.

Vladimir's clinical practice commenced in 1998 at the First Stomatological Clinic of Masaryk University in Brno and continued by six-year work at Clinic of Oral, Maxillary and Facial Surgery in the Faculty Hospital in Brno. Currently Vladimir works in Prague, at the Department of Pediatric Stomatology of Motol University Hospital. He regularly enriches his experience within foreign stays (last in USA, 2006) and participation in international courses and congresses (Germany, Austria, France, Greece).

Vladimir has been member of Czech Society of Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as member of European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Suregery representing the Czech Republic since 2004. His academic career is rich in publication activities, his portfolio numbers over 30 Czech and foreign publications and he is member of editorial board of Stomateam magazine. Vladimir also leads education courses in the field of stomatosurgery for Czech Dental Chamber.
