Petr Novak, M.D.

Petr Novak, M.D. is the deputy of the Ophthalmologic Department of the Hospital Kralovske Vinohrady. He finished his specialist training in 1996 and concentrates on anterior segment surgery and has become one of the Czech leading surgeons in this field. Since 1995 dr.Novak achieved more than 5000 LASIK refractive surgeries,more than 13 500 cataract surgeries and more than 1000 corneal transplantations. He started performing refractive surgery in 1995 in Prague and completed his training at the eye departments in Mannheim and Boston. Dr.Novak has given presentations on laser refractive surgery at international scientific meetings. He is the secretary of the Czech Society for Refractive and Cataract Surgery and is affiliated with European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
