Tomas Kupka M.D.

Tomas Kupka M.D., surgeon, chief surgeon of Institute of Aesthetic Medicine in Karlovy Vary. He has specialized in aesthetic medicine since 1998.

He graduated from Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Plzen in 1989. Since then he worked at the department of surgery at Hospital in Karlovy Vary. In 1992 he achieved attestation of first class in the specialty of surgery. In 1994 and 1995 he worked at private surgical clinic at Karlovy Vary, from 1996 to 1998 at the department of infant surgery and internships in Prague at infant surgery at Motol Faculty Hospital and department of infant traumatology at Krc Faculty Hospital. In 1998 he changed to Laser Medical Ltd. in Karlovy Vary as a surgeon of outpatient surgery and laser aesthetic surgery.

In 2000 he worked in the Association of Aesthetic Surgery, Ltd. in Karlovy Vary. Since 2001 he has worked in the Institute of Aesthetic Medicine at the department in Karlovy Vary, where he has been also the secretary of the institute.

He participated on specialized internships in Germany in Frankfurt at the department of laser aesthetic surgery, at the department of plastic surgery at Institute of Medical Cosmetics in Prague under chief surgeon Zaruba M.D., at Laser Medical Centre, Ltd. in Prague under Adamcova M.D..

He is a member of Czech Medical Chamber, Czech Society for the Use of Laser in Medicine. He actively participates on the trainings and internships in the specialty of plastic and aesthetic surgery, laser surgery, corrective dermatology (application of botulinum toxin, skin implants).
