Technique of assisted reproduction, during which protective layering of an embryo is disrupted in order to help an embryo implant into the vascular mucous uterus. Even the hardness of the embryo membrane can present the reason for infertility. This technique can be used in older women, during repeated trials for artificial fertilization, during the use of cryoconservation of embryos or as a part of ICSI.
