Correction with LASEK laser method

Published: 2008-02-26. Updated: 2010-06-18

This procedure corrects eye disorders and is more modern than PRK method. A thin flap is created from the outer layers of cornea and 20% of ethyl alcohol. An epithelial flap is created, which is connected with the cornea. The cornea is then ablated with laser and returned back. Compared to PRK it is less painful and with better healing effect.
