Have they not helped you elsewhere? Come to us!!!
This slogan may at first glance appear as a mere marketing gimmick aimed to attract more clients. We, however, do not need to resort to such methods since we have patients galore. Instead, please take it as a friendly offer to those of you who are at the end of their ropes, having looked for help everywhere else with negative results, and in some cases maybe even ending up at a psychologist or psychiatrist. You have been suffering from disorders maybe for years, but according to medical examinations you are actually OK. What is it then? Are you just malingering? Or is, indeed, something wrong? We will tell you.
Rehabilitation is a field of medicine which deals with the musculoskeletal system and which - egardless of impaired structure of the body - trives to improve the functional condition and make the patient self-sufficient.
The big problem, however, is that the root cause of headache, back pain, or pain in the joints is very often outside of the musculoskeletal system (we estimate that this applies to at least 50% of our patients) as shown in the diagram below.
In an ideal case, the primary cause of the disorder is directly in the musculoskeletal system. It may simply be a functional problem, which is less serious and where the structure of the body is not yet impaired. A structural problem is, naturally, more serious, but not even in this case do we give up, and we are able to improve the functional condition. By the way, we also consider the fact that very often the cause is not where the pain is. It is a bit of a detective story, but we are able to locate the primary spot and cure it.
Nervous system disorders may also play a significant role. The disablement may be relatively mild, such as irregular posture of children or a minor cerebral dysfunction, but also far more serious, such as the Parkinson disease, cerebral palsy, paralysis after a stroke, etc. In this area, apart from other methods, we plentifully and successfully apply treatment using nervous reflexes.
Viscera (inner organs) impact the musculoskeletal system in three ways - by contact, by way of nervous reflexes, and metabolically. By contact, the affected organ disturbs the surrounding muscles or joints; by way of nervous reflexes, vertebrae of the spine which are connected to the affected organ get blocked; metabolic changes affect the whole body (diabetes, diseases of the thyroid etc.).
Inflammations are wide spread in population and, unfortunately, often undetected. Routine tests used in medicine to detect inflammations (sedimentation, CRP, lymphocyte analysis) are too rough. Less intense and, in particular, chronic inflammations will go undetected. And yet, any inflammation anywhere in the body will be propagated by blood and lymph throughput the entire body. What follows is stiffening of ligament in joints and muscles. Joints then start showing typical symptoms and react to treatment also in a typical manner - unfortunately negative. We detect all of this very quickly, and then treat the patient appropriately with the use of homoeopathy, herbs and other medications.

It is obvious from the above that the musculoskeletal system is exposed to the impact of multiple other factors which we can, however, detect - and in many instances also successfully heal. We have made this possible by adopting diagnostics and treatment according to a new and original method whose author is associate professor Miroslav Tichý - Functional Manual Medicine (www.miroslavtichy.cz). Thus, we write a new chapter in rehabilitation treatment.
