Wobenzym

Wobenzym is a drug that contains proteolytic enzymes that have a beneficial effect on immunity and healing of inflammation (acute, recurrent as well as chronic). While used, Wobenzym helps to rapidly reduce oedemas, suffusions and haematomas, and relieves pain. Generally, it facilitates the healing process. Wobenzym is suitable as a supportive treatment for various inflammations. These are, among others, inflammations of the air passages and urinary tract, gynaecological inflammations, inflammations of the prostate, inflammations of the superficial veins (including haemorrhoids).

Moreover, the drug is suitable also for relieving pain and reducing oedemas after injuries or surgeries (including dental and plastic surgeries). It also helps in inflammatory activations of a degenerative joint disease (arthritis) and other inflammations of the locomotive system. It is a suitable alternative treatment for persons who do not tolerate non-steroid analgesics. It is also beneficial to use Wobenzym when the lymphatic drainage has been disrupted for various reasons and lymphoedema occurs.

Phlogenzym

Phlogenzym is a drug that contains a combination of two proteolytic enzymes (substances which cleave proteins) of plant and animal origin supplemented by a plant flavonoid rutoside that have a beneficial effect in various phases of an inflammatory reaction and immune actions. With their synergistic effect the compounds of Phlogenzym help to reduce the amount of harmful products of intermediary metabolism in the area of inflammation, facilitate resorption of oedemas, suffusions and haematomas. They normalise permeability of the vessel wall and thus reduce swelling. Phlogenzym decreases blood viscosity and favourably influences some properties of blood platelets and red blood cells that play role in formation of blood clots (thrombi). It improves blood circulation in fine vessels and adjusts blood flow though tissues and their supply with nutrients and oxygen. Due to all these effects the healing processes and regeneration are promoted and accelerated, and pain connected with inflammation is reduced. The tablets are resistant to gastric juices. They are suitable in particular for healing oedemas after injuries and surgeries, as a part of the treatment of various inflammatory conditions (as for example inflammations of the urinary tract and of genitals, inflammations of veins). The product can be suitable also for the treatment of inflammation of the locomotive system and of rheumatic diseases.
